All you need to do is to click the unlock icon located at the top bar of the app and then select the photo, audio or video that you want to unlock. To complete the unlocking process, you will have to press the unlock button present on the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Safe Gallery (Media Lock) offers various customization tools to you as well. You can access them by clicking the Settings button that is present in the drop-down menu which appears after you have tapped on the MENU icon, located at the top-right corner of the screen.
